Choose your genre: Wildlife and Nature
BRIEF:
- Capture six photographs of the wildlife and nature along my local river in Spring using a documentary-style approach.
- Set of images will highlight the variety of wildlife and the health of The River Otter in East Devon during Spring
- Intended audience will be readers of publications such as local newspapers, BBC Wildlife Magazine, Country File and similar publictations. Other audiences include co-learners and mentors and those who are interested in nature photography and the wildlife that can be found along the UK rivers
- Include a mix of flora and fauna images in vertical and horizontal formats in colour
- Utilise mostly long and macro lenses to reach distant subjects and close-ups of smaller creatures and plants.
- Shoot at sunrise when animals tend to be most active and the light is usually pleasing.
- The images will draw inspiration from successful local South West UK photographers such as Jack Lodge and Nick Howe
